BREW Next Door
Located downtown at 537 NW 1st Avenue, BREW offers the perfect escape from the outside world. Step inside the industrial style interior and leave Fort Lauderdale behind as you enter, what can only be described as a speakeasy, come library, come coffeehouse. Shelves and shelves of books adorn the walls, and rustic wooden furniture complemented by antique décor completes the vibe. Their coffee is organic, sustainably sourced, and locally roasted. They expertly craft all the usual espresso-based beverages, plus some signature specials, such as their Wildflower made with lavender, honey, vanilla, and espresso.
Come evening, the bar opens, and BREW pours a selection of wines, craft beers, and spirits. Plus, speciality literature themed cocktails like their Ernest Hemingway, made with Basil Hayden, cherry, orange peel, and bitters. The Jane Austen is composed of Tito’s vodka, pear nectar, pineapple, and rosemary. Sit back and enjoy your cup as you watch photoshoots happening in the creative space, live music performed by local talent or appreciate the work of local artists hanging on the walls.
Ann’s Florist and Coffee Bar
Mix work and pleasure at Ann’s. Located at 1001 E Las Olas Boulevard, shop for flowers and plants or sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine whilst soaking in some inspiration for your next creative table setting. They even offer floristry classes and workshops. The café space is decorated with plant walls, floral arrangements and hanging flowers.
Ann’s offer a selection of loose-leaf teas, wine, craft beer, and speciality floral-inspired cocktails. Along with espresso-based, brewed, and cold brew coffee. Feeling peckish? They also serve a range of baked goods and pastries. Everything is presented beautifully, making it the perfect spot for a little indulgence and inspiration.

Magnolia Caffee
A coffeehouse perfect for those who love plants and all things vintage. Head to 1218 NE 4th Avenue, and you’ll spot the cute white and blue bungalow covered in plants. Inside, and the brightly lit interior is adorned in an eclectic mix of colourful vintage paraphernalia. If you choose to sit outside on the private patio, you are encompassed by flowering and fruit growing plants. Many of which are made use of in their handcrafted drinks and food.
On the menu, you’ll find all the classic espresso-based coffees. Plus, brewed coffee, iced coffees, matcha lattes, loose teas, kombucha smoothies, homegrown hibiscus tea, and fresh juices. If you’re feeling hungry, choose from buttermilk pancakes, bagels, salads, paninis, salads, lox, and avocado dishes.

Press and Grind
Press and Grind is a juice and coffee bar located at 1300 SE 17th Street. They serve the finest single-origin speciality coffee in an array of styles, such as cortados, flat whites, nitro brew, cold brews, French press, bulletproof, cappuccinos, and red eyes. All made with your choice of milk and flavoured syrups.
There are also teas, handmade lemonades, lavender lemonade, and chai teas. If you’re on a health kick, try one of their fresh smoothies, fresh-pressed juices, or energy shots. The menu also features nutrient-dense acai bowls, sandwiches, toasts, salads, and soups.
Nanou – French Bakery and Café
Missing those French-style patisserie and bakery goods? Try Nanou at 2915 E Las Olas Boulevard, located right on the beach. Here you can find a plethora of croissants, French-style baguette sandwiches, crepes and quiches, plus the coffee is pretty good too.
Espressos, macchiatos, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, Americanos, Affogatos… They have it all. If you feel like something sweet, try their Nanouccino – two shots of espresso, milk, praline, whipped cream, and a topping of either vanilla, caramel, or chocolate.
