You might say the FunAir Beach Club Sea Pool has become somewhat of an Instagram sensation. Much of that fame is down to those amazing folks on board M/Y Loon and with nearly 30 thousand followers and tens of millions of views between the Instagram pages of FunAir and M/Y Loon we are proud to be part of the most popular social media superyacht in 2018. You’ll find the Beach Club Sea Pool front and centre in most of their pictures, along with their yacht slide of course, so we thought we would share a bit more about our latest pool.
Designed in partnership with Motor Yacht Loon, this inflatable sea pool has an extended deck area, ergonomic Wave Loungers for sunbathing and our patented SeaStairs to make it easy for guests to get in and out of the water. The Beach Club Sea Pool is a comfortable way for guests to enjoy swimming out in the ocean during their superyacht experience because the pool provides a tightly woven barrier to help keep jellyfish and sea critters out, with an enclosed area to prevent charter guests and children from floating away in the current.
Captain Paul Clarke of MY Loon explains, “Everyone loves our pool! We have two charter clients returning just because of the pool. Guests love the additional space it provides to lounge out on the ocean, and the safety of being able to jump straight into the netted pool. The owner even said how amazing it is.”
With a variety of configurations, our Sea Pool can be fitted to the back of your swim platform or alongside your yacht. Adding our patented Sea Stairs will make getting out of the water a breeze for guests after a refreshing dip in the ocean. All sea pools come with swimmer assist grab handles and ropes and, of course, a FunAir electric pump.
Captain Paul continued, “All the guests that come on board love it and it’s the centre of our water-sports program. Even the guests that aren’t as active in water-sports still feel like they are involved because they are right there in the middle of the fun. And when the water-sports are over and a slower pace of life is needed, it’s the perfect platform to relax off the boat and grab a tan on the Wave Loungers with a Margarita in your hand.”
