It’s easy to see why the Floating Oasis is one of our most popular yacht products. It offers the on-water experience of a Double Wave Lounger, with the space to be sociable and a seamless in-out water transition via our patented SeaStairs. The Floating Oasis comfortably accommodates eight adults, has a central dipping pool, and the durable material provides ultimate comfort while lounging.
The Floating Oasis also offers incredible on-water stability, with its innovative design that is both sturdy and comfortable. A bonus seating area for guests who want to be involved in the water activities but would prefer to stay out of the action. It also works as a deluxe sunbathing area, complete with a dipping pool to quickly jump in the water and cool off, or as a briefing point when guests are trying new water sports activities. Plus, you won’t have to worry about bumping into any unwanted sea creatures thanks to the built-in netting in the dipping pool – there is a reason why we called this one an ‘Oasis’.
So, what’s new with the Shaded Oasis?
Recently launched at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Shaded Oasis is an evolution of FunAir’s popular Floating Oasis and is the result of an exclusive collaboration with yachting canopy specialist Deck Tent. A premium, first-to-market solution for the superyacht sector, the FunAir X Deck Tent shade is made using the same ultra-lightweight materials and construction as kiteboarding sails. It is extremely light, packs down into a stuff sack and offers UV protection without the hassle of rigid framed shades.
We wanted to create a product that offered total relaxation on the water while still being a retreat from the strong sunlight. This new yacht toy is a free-floating superyacht inflatable that can be tethered from the yacht whilst out at anchor, or from the sands or jetty during a beach day experience. The Shaded Oasis offers protection from the sun’s rays while still allowing the best of the on-water experience. Keeping up with FunAir’s pledge to ‘make life easier for crew’, the Shaded Oasis is quick to deploy and takes up very little storage space on board. In less than 15-minutes, guests can be relaxing on the Shaded Oasis with a cocktail in hand.
