At FunAir, we don’t just make the yachting world more fun; we make it easier. Behind every Yacht Slide, Sea Pool, and inflatable superyacht toy is our focus on simplifying life for yacht owners, crew, and industry partners. This is why we are now excited to launch our latest support tool, the FunAir FAQs section. Our new website section is a central, searchable and ever-expanding digital knowledge base designed to give you our expert knowledge on all things inflatable quickly and easily. Whether you are in the early stages of your inflatable toy journey or have a full-blown Water Park already, these Frequently Asked Questions help you find fast, accurate answers on everything from setup to shipping.
Endless Knowledge in One Hub

Over the years, we have answered thousands of questions from yacht owners and build teams and crews worldwide – some straightforward, others super specific. We have transformed those collective insights into a digital hub of answers, available 24/7 to support the realities of yachting life across time zones and schedules. The FAQ section lets you focus on the fun and offers fast, reliable information to streamline your decision-making. From product care to colour choices, the FAQs provide complete transparency, reflecting our commitment to long-term client support and user-first design. With fast-changing trends and our constantly growing product lines, this new section will be continuously updated with answers to new questions as they arise. To make it even easier, we have grouped the FAQs into logical and searchable categories. Here, we highlight a few key areas you can explore today.
Start to Finish: What to Expect When Ordering

The questions throughout the FAQs follow our client’s journey from start to finish. The searchable function of the section means you can easily navigate to whichever part of the FunAir journey you are on, from ordering to delivery. In the fast-paced world of yachting and managing multiple timelines, one of the most frequent questions we hear is: “What is the lead time for manufacturing?” Around 85% of our products are custom-built, with a typical lead time of 35 days. For those short of time, we also offer our QuickShip options with pre-designed inflatable toys for any last-minute requests. Most importantly, we offer free consultations and support from the beginning, guiding you through product selection and design layout – making sure everything is ordered and delivered in time for when you need it.
From Ordering to Delivery: We Ship Everywhere

Answering the question: “Where do you ship to?” is easy – whether you are on the milk run from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean or further off the beaten track in Southeast Asia, we ship to wherever you are. Our daily shipping operations ensure fast and reliable delivery to your location. Whether you are still in the new build process, in a refit or marina hopping, we have a meticulous team constantly running our logistics and will get you your inflatable yacht toy in the quickest way possible, all hassle-free. If you are after something faster than our typical lead time and are still looking for customised solutions versus QuickShip, it is best to reach out to us directly with your timeline, needs and requirements.
One-of-a-Kind Design: We Make Customisation Easy

No two yachts are the same, so customised design runs through our designers’ and engineers’ DNA. We love creating one-of-a-kind products. When it comes to customisation, our FAQs cover plenty of questions, such as, “Can I customise my inflatables with my logo?” and “Can you match the colour of my yacht?” The answers all point to our experts.
For logos and colours, all inflatable toys can be completely customised with your yacht’s artwork. When it comes to colour, we offer a vast selection from the FunAir Colour Chart and Non-Skid Surface options. We can also match any Pantone colour reference for an additional fee – resulting in a truly personalised FunAir product. Head to our social channels to see various superyachts showcasing their customised logos, which are showcased on many products, from Jet Ski Docks to a Floating Playground.
If you’re wondering how everything can fit perfectly onboard, we answer that too: “How do FunAir inflatables integrate with different deck layouts?” Our inflatable toys are designed to suit various deck configurations, and we always have a solution, ensuring the toy blends with the layout while offering easy access and storage. “How do I measure up?” is also answered in our FAQs. Ensuring everything slots into place is taken from the yacht’s General Arrangement (GA) drawing or if that isn’t available, our FunAir Measuring Guide.
Materials Matter: Built to Last, Designed for Fun

Performance is just as important as the fun factor, which is why every inflatable we design is backed by expert support and engineered for just that, so when asked, “What are your inflatables made from?” We are confident in answering as clearly as we can; they are all created from high-quality, marine-grade PVC and reinforced TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). Another commonly asked question is, “How long will they stay inflated?” Our inflatables use sealed air systems, meaning they don’t need constant airflow or continuous inflation. With transparency a core value of ours, we also add that they may need a quick top-up if you experience significant temperature fluctuations, which can alter the pressure.
Product Insights: Spotlight on Our Iconic Inflatable Toys

Unsurprisingly, some of the questions that arise in our FAQs are based on our most talked-about and long-standing favourites. Both the Yacht Slide and Sea Pool have become inflatable toy staples on yachts around the world. So, naturally, many want to know exactly how they work, how they are installed, and the insider details.
In the FAQ section, you will find detailed answers to some of the most common queries surrounding Yacht Slides, including, “Are the slides freestanding or yacht-attached?” We offer both. “Will the slide damage our handrails?” Thankfully not, our slides sit 10-15cm above the rails. Protecting the yacht is crucial, so many clients have also asked about the crane handling. The Yacht Slides are fitted with ring points and include lifting straps. Our vast range of slides means that there is an option to suit every guest regarding “What kinds of entry styles are available?”
Another client favourite is our Sea Pools, providing a safe and comfortable area to swim off the yacht without worry. We explain in our FAQ how, instead of fixed weights for the Sea Pools, we use adjustable weight bags with built-in net pockets, and we also highlight how the netting is detachable depending on your preferences, offering both Welded Netting and FunAir QuickZip Netting. For yachts cruising tropical regions, “Do you make netted Sea Pools of Australian waters and Southeast Asia?” Of course! We offer our Aussie Edition Lagoon Pool Netting, specifically for the smallest sea critters and Premium Jellyfish Netting for excellent protection.
Crew-Approved: Setting Up, Storage and Care

Many of the questions we get asked relate to the practicalities. We believe inflatable toys should only add fun, not more work. From “How easy are your inflatables to clean” to “How long does it take to set up and pack away a Yacht Slide?” Our FAQs outline all the answers for those, typically yacht crew, who want to know the ins and outs of setting up, storing, and ensuring they stay in top-quality condition.
While each toy is different, thanks to our RapidFlate systems, FunAir products inflate up to four times faster than traditional systems. In fact, it typically takes around 15 minutes to inflate one of our 5m Yacht Slides. When it comes to the care of inflatable toys, our inflatables are designed with ease of cleaning and maintenance in mind. We use non-porous materials, the design ensures minimal water, dirt, and grime gets trapped, and we even provide a care and repair guide to help you keep up with the maintenance. Our global network of service centres also offers additional help for those busier times. While durability is the cornerstone of our manufacturing, accidents can happen, which is why “What’s the warranty?” outlines that we cover up to 90 days on accessories and up to five years on custom yacht inflatables.
Safety and Standards: Designed to Withstand the Elements

Everything we build is engineered with durability, performance, and safety as non-negotiables. When asked questions like “Will my inflatables fade in the sun?” our answers are easy, reflecting our commitment to ensuring our inflatable toys can withstand the harshest outdoor conditions.
Alongside the high-quality and innovative materials our teams use, safety is also considered every step of the way. Not only do our inflatable toys not fade in the sun due to the high-quality UV-stabilised vinyl, but they are also fire-retardant. With questions like “Do your Yacht Slides have crane lifting points?” we also highlight our safety features, such as providing specialised lifting straps for recovery and transportation.
Weight is also an essential factor onboard. “What weight can your inflatable products support?” We answer this as transparently as possible, with weight capacities varying depending on the design and purpose and direct you to chat with us further for specific requirements.
