Introducing George

Prior to founding H2O Guru, George was an activities manager for luxury resorts in the Mediterranean, running teams of instructors to teach guests a range of water sports. From there he did a year in the Swiss Alps in a 5* Chalet and then six and a half years on Sir Richard Bransons private island progressing to the position of Operations Manager, running six departments between Necker and Moskito island.

What Do You Do for Fun?

Stay active, go for runs, get on the water with my mates. I love anything to do with the water; scuba diving, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, sailing, foiling, surfing. My main love is kitesurfing, I love the progression and endless challenge to land the next trick. I also love the community spirit of kitesurfers.

What Makes H2o Guru Unique? What’s One of Your Favourite Moments?

We are luxury marine consultants to HNWI’s, 5* resorts and private islands. Our values are being personal and friendly with clients, we like to build long term relationships working as our clients’ personal advisor for all things marine! Our job is to show them the wonderful world of water sports, introduce them to new and fun ways of enjoying time on the water, and saving them money whilst making it hassle free at the same!

I love teaching people new water sports and I think there is no better way to connect with someone than sharing skills and experiences and teaching them something. The smile and stoke they get from learning something new is contagious! My time on Necker Island was nothing short of sensational. From world class kitesurfing to world renowned parties, but that’s all I can tell you due to NDAs – LOL!

What Do You Love about FunAir?

I love how customisable the product is but also how helpful the FunAir team are. Always excited to hear how they can help and make another cool product! The Yacht Golf is fantastic, I just love the good vibes and feeling of hitting fish food golf balls and it always gets competitive!
